The CBCS Network DRC has now begun harvesting their fields.

They believe that the effects of the war in eastern DRC will not have much impact as long as they have access to local seeds. There is definite hope for socio-bioeconomic recovery.
We thank our partners who trust us to support the agroecological transition in a context of armed conflict.
Agroecology is seen as a tool for peace, strengthening cohabitation and social cohesion between village communities in eastern DRC.
The majority decide that their seed banks should be managed in the forest and not in the village. This is a success in terms of resilience to climate change and the context of armed conflict.
