Cocoa Cultivation and Groundnut Harvesting in the DRC

Posted on 2025-05-06 - Catégorie: Environnement

This year we were given the task of restoring land degraded by cocoa cultivation in the DRC.

At least 3 ha have been planted and work is continuing so that within 3 years we will have at least 10 ha of cocoa planted.

We would also like to point out that the groundnut harvest for season B is being sold to farmers' groups in rural areas in the east of the DRC. Agroecology remains a pillar for promoting peace and economic resilience in the post-conflict period for indigenous communities in eastern DRC.
